saw the latest at the rom on sunday - some amazingly delicate gold artifacts from ancient peru (mostly from a single tomb). i can only imagine what the inca haul must have looked like before it was melted down (warm down there, pizarro?) given how spectacular some of these pieces are.
not sure how long the exhibit is staying, so go soon...
