finished chris adrian's 'the children's hospital' a few weeks back. a hard book to get through. long by maybe 200 pages or so. it did have its moments, and an interesting premise to boot (world flooded a la old testament, with a children's hospital sitting in for the ark), but its length and finish wore down the experience for me.
